1. It is all about spreading the impact.

Upon successful project transfer, the elements that have contributed to the achievement – the so-called transfer core – are defined and passed on. It is not always necessary to copy the entire organization.

2. The project must be replicable.

In order for a project to be implemented in the same quality elsewhere, the processes and success factors must be defined and formulated.

3. Investment of time and resources for the transfer work

Many risks can be minimized in advance. While the best planning is not without setbacks, it helps if you are prepared to deal with them.

4. Sharing knowledge

The project transfer is mainly about the exchange of knowledge. Not only is the passing on of success factors important, but also the comprehensive error analysis. Both are guarantors of success for good cooperation in the network.

5. Finding the right transfer method

The right transfer method depends on the goals – how quickly and to what extent the project should grow, how complex the processes and success factors are, and what capacities and competences are available to project providers and users.

6. Control is good – trust is better

A good relationship between the project owner and the customer is essential for the success of the transfer and is impressively realized by all participants of the project Wasser 3.0. The basis of the whole is a trusting relationship with the organizations. All involved partners meet as equals. The collective counts. The contribution of the individual is important and forms the basis of the transfer activity. Built-in control mechanisms serve as indications at an early stage if the quality on site is not right, in order to support the project manager in a targeted manner.

7. For the project Wasser 3.0, the formula for sustainable transfer applies: plan – pilot – optimize – optimize – optimize

Planning is an important part of the transfer process and is included before every project start. However, since many opportunities and risks only emerge in practice, the project should first be piloted at one or two locations before being brought into the field. And even then, it is important to readjust the transfer concept regularly. This concept is currently being implemented. In addition to the EW Landau, it is currently being piloted at another location.

8. Marketing and external communication

Here we rely on the cooperation with our network partners. Through the establishment of uniform external communication (Corporate Identity CI) and the use of all communication channels, milestones can be communicated and transferred more quickly, which puts the project into focus.

9. Realism instead of optimism

Wasser 3.0 builds on realistic goals that can be implemented with the existing capacities and competences.
