The first week of November, the Wasser 3.0 team is on the road in the Netherlands. Where could we feel more comfortable than in the country where innovation and water say 'good morning', so to speak. And feel good we do already - very much: Because in our luggage is the incredible nomination for the Aquatech Innovation Award and the hard-won ticket to the European finals of Get in the Ring - Impact.
Wasser 3.0 detect | remove | reuse nominated for Aquatech Innovation Award
Things get off to a hot start on Monday. The Aquatech Innovation Awards ceremony will take place that evening. After having the great honor to be among the nominees with our detect | remove | reuse strategy for the holistic handling of microplastics in water, we are of course already very excited.
Our nomination has already given us a big treat. We are given the opportunity to present our solutions for the detection, removal and reuse of microplastics and micropollutants in the Innovation Forum section of Aquatech, one of the major water technology trade shows. Live and with public access. Wow!

Unexpectedly, this is our 2nd trade show appearance this year and since our founding. Our new colleague Anika Korzin has in her 2nd month with us her appearance on the international stage. Katrin Schuhen and Dennis Schober are invited into the limelight to present our strategy in a presentation on Tuesday and Thursday. The event will begin at 2 p.m. on both days. Wasser 3.0 in the final of the Get in the Ring - Impact startup competition in The Hague
Just around the corner and almost in parallel, the Get in the Ring Impact Finale and the Impact Fest are taking place in The Hague. Initially once planned for spring, now actually live!
How we get there?
In November 2020, we could win the Get in the Ring - Impact competition in Berlin - twice - as winners of the jury voting and the public voting. At the time, this was the first competition we won and the first pitch competition we ever participated in since the founding of Wasser 3.0 in May 2020.
Just around the corner and almost in parallel, the Get in the Ring Impact Finale and the Impact Fest are taking place in The Hague. Initially once planned for spring, now actually live!

So from Aquatech in Amsterdam, it's off to The Hague on Tuesday evening for half the team. There we meet the other 19 European impact startups that made it to the finals. The program of the following three days is packed and ranges from matchmaking rounds, city tours and Impact Fest workshops to the Finale Grande on Thursday evening: the Final Battles.
Will we be there? Who knows...
We are definitely prepared to showcase our solutions and hybrid business model in all its transformative merits. When greentech and social business come together, it means a lot of added value for us in many directions. But we know, for many, it (still) means a lot of question marks.
Regardless of the final, the time in The Hague and Amsterdam promises to be exchange-intensive and enriching in terms of content and personal experience.
