FILTECH Innovation Forum Stop Microplastics Pollution!
When everything is about filtration and separation again at the next FILTECH from March 8 to 10, 2022, the spotlight will also be on market-ready innovations for the detection and removal of microplastics from air, soil and water. In cooperation with FILTECH, we will host the Innovation Forum Stop Microplastics Pollution!
May the action begin
The Innovation Forum is a platform for market-ready innovations
(TRL 7+) that can immediately be implemented to stop further pollution of our environment with microplastics.
On Day 1 and 2, up to 5 solutions will be presented in a pitch session (4 slides, 3 minutes), followed by a moderated panel discussion and a guided booth tour (solutions that do not have a booth at FILTECH will be given the opportunity to display a poster).
Day 3 will provide impetus and space for discussion on political, economic and societal aspects of microplastics as a global environmental problem and health threat.
Our motivation and goals
We at Wasser 3.0 attend to the content of this event and are very excited about the opportunity to join forces with fellow campaigners for less microplastics in our environment.
Given the complexity that microplastics represent due to its multiple origins, entry pathways, and distribution routes into the environment, and given the inaction to date on this global environmental problem, it is not a day too soon to pool our innovation and drive, get into action together, and show what is possible.
Let's dream big
One of the big questions we ask ourselves as sustainability entrepreneurs is: what does competition mean when it comes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and securing our vital resources water and air?
In other words, how do we achieve efficient, goal-oriented and values-based cooperation beyond individual interests and/or profit maximization - in terms of shared concerns, in terms of the common good? Perhaps the Innovation Forum Stop Microplastics Pollution! will also provide inspiration, exchange opportunities and momentum for new models of cooperation. For Wasser 3.0 we can say: ready whenever you are!
