The Solar Impulse Foundation reaches the magic number of #1000solutions

Since January this year, our process Wasser 3.0 PE-X® has been a proud bearer of the Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label. For this certification, three independent experts confirmed that we have a solution for removing microplastics from waters that not only works, but does so under the highest ecological and economic aspects. Today, the Solar Impulse Foundation and its founder Bertrand Piccard reach their first major milestone: #1000solutions have been labeled and will now travel with him to decision makers in industry and politics worldwide. We congratulate warmly and wish all the best for #beyond1000solutions, their multiplication and scaling!

This is what's behind the Solar Impulse Foundation label

The Label: An award for clean and profitable solutions. Evaluated by independent experts, the Solar Impulse Efficient Solution label serves as a credible quality seal for corporate and governmental decision makers.

The Experts: The Solar Impulse Foundation's Expert Community is a group of professionals with more than five years of technical experience in one or more of the SDGs relevant to the Foundation. They play a key role in the certification process, contributing their technical and professional expertise to evaluate and critique the submitted solutions. They come from diverse backgrounds, companies, and countries, but share a passion for sustainable solutions.

The World Alliance: Launched by Bertrand Piccard, the World Alliance for Efficient Solutions brings together key players in the field of clean technologies. Synergies are created, matchmaking between solution providers and investors facilitated and profitable solutions for environmental protection given a platform.

Once the #1000solutions have been achieved, the real work begins. Now it is a matter of exploiting the potential of the certified technologies and bringing them into multiplication and scaling. The Solar Impulse Foundation and Bertrand Piccard wish to support public authorities, companies and individuals to find their way to achieve their climate goals.

The foundation is currently developing a Solutions Guide - a tool that delivers a specific set of appropriate solutions depending on the searcher's profile, needs and preferences. With a database of 1000 solutions (and counting), it is possible to respond to country-, region-, or industry-specific environmental challenges. The Solutions Guide is intended to inspire everyone to find and use solutions they have not thought of before. It will of course include our Wasser 3.0 PE-X® process for waters without microplastics and micropollutants.
