Analytics Kit: Take Part in Microplastics Mapping
With the analytics kit, school classes and private individuals take water samples at our focus waters. Wasser 3.0 analyses the samples and publishes the results in the Global Map of Microplastics.
Please note: We now only provide analytics kits for sampling entire rivers or continuous sections, not for single samples. Only many samples along a body of water show where microplastics enter it.
Get started in 3 steps
- Express your interest: download the form (PDF), complete it and send it to wasomi@wasserdreinull.de.
- Agree on funding: we will get in touch as soon as sampling for your water is planned and agree the funding with you (see below).
- Take samples: you receive the kit, take the samples following the instructions and send them to our laboratory. Your results appear in the Global Map of Microplastics.
Funding
- Schools: participation is free of charge as long as funds from donations, sponsorship and school sponsorships are available. There is no entitlement to free participation.
- School sponsorship: a company or parents' association funds the sampling for a class. Find out more about “The Microplastics Case” (information brochure, PDF in German).
- Own funds or grants: for schools with their own budget, private individuals and other institutions, we provide a quote on request. Simply tick the relevant option in the form.
